Payment Methods
Payment options
Checkout accepts major credit and debit cards and whichever online wallet options the operator has enabled. Only the methods shown at checkout are live; the operator must confirm the final list with the payment provider before this store accepts live orders. Cash on delivery, personal cheques and bank transfers are not offered.
When a card is charged
Placing an order authorises the payment and reserves the funds. The card is captured when the order is picked and handed to the carrier. If a bottle sells out between authorisation and picking, the order is adjusted and the difference released, or the whole order is cancelled and the authorisation voided. An authorisation usually shows on a statement as pending for a few days before it becomes a charge.
Payment security
Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own secured form and are never stored on this site. The store receives a confirmation token and a masked reference, which is why support can look up an order but cannot read a card number back to you. Address and card verification checks may be run, and an order can be held while a check is repeated.
Declined and failed payments
A declined payment means the order does not proceed; nothing is shipped and no money is taken. Common causes are an expired card, a mismatch between the billing address and the card record, or a bank block on an unfamiliar merchant. Try another method or speak to the bank, then place the order again. Repeated failed attempts may pause checkout on that account for a short period.
Sales tax and totals
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout based on the delivery address, and any alcohol-specific tax the operator is required to collect is included in the total shown before you confirm the order. The final total on the confirmation email is the amount charged.
Refunds and payment disputes
Refunds return to the original payment method and can take up to ten business days to appear. If a charge looks wrong, contact the support desk before raising a chargeback with the bank: most payment issues are an authorisation that has not yet dropped off, and we can explain or correct it faster than a formal dispute.
Contact
Write to [email protected] or call if anything about payment here is unclear. The mailbox and the number are placeholders and must be replaced by the operator before this store accepts live orders.
