These terms in plain language

By placing an order you agree to these terms of service. Read them alongside the shipping, returns and privacy pages, which form part of the same agreement. If any of these terms is not acceptable to you, do not place the order.

Who may buy

Buyers must be at least 21 years old and able to accept delivery in person. An order is an offer to buy; it becomes accepted when the store confirms it, and the store may decline or cancel an order where stock, licensing or age verification fails.

Pricing, tax and listing errors

Prices are shown in US dollars and cover the bottle only. Sales tax is calculated at checkout according to the delivery address and the applicable rules, and any alcohol-specific tax the operator is required to collect is included in the total shown before you confirm. If a price is listed in error, the order may be cancelled and any amount paid refunded rather than fulfilled at the wrong price. Pricing and available stock can change without notice.

Payment

Payment is authorised when the order is placed and captured when the order ships. If authorisation fails, the order will not proceed. Cash on delivery is not accepted. The payment methods page lists the options that are actually enabled at checkout.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping is available only to addresses the store is permitted to serve, and an adult signature and photo identification are required at delivery. Shipping windows are estimates rather than guarantees, and weather or carrier delays can move them. An order that cannot be delivered is returned to us and handled under the returns policy.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

An order can usually be cancelled before it ships by contacting the support desk. Unopened bottles may be returned under the conditions set out on the returns page. Where a valid return is accepted, the refund is issued to the original payment method once the goods are received and checked, and refunds do not cover shipping charges except where the fault was ours.

Warranties and disclaimers

The store warrants that it will supply the products described on this site and will pass on the producer’s packaging in good condition. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, products are supplied without further warranty, and a matter of taste is not a defect. Nothing on this site is medical, dietary or health advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount paid for the products concerned. The store is not liable for indirect losses such as a missed event or a spoiled meal. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy, and placing an order means you accept that handling.

Acceptable use and disputes

You agree not to resell, not to order on behalf of a minor, and not to misuse the site. These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s place of business, and any dispute should be raised with the support desk first so that it can be resolved directly. The operator must supply the governing jurisdiction before this store accepts live orders.
