Description
5 Sentidos Sierra NegraFresh, herbal notes of sage, rosemary, and thyme, reminiscent of a lush, green agave field. Hints of pine and cedar give way to a subtle sweetness, with notes of honey and beeswax. A well-balanced combination of smoky and fruity flavors, with an initial taste of underripe pineapple and green apple, followed by the characteristic smokiness of mezcal. The taste of earthy, mineral-rich soil adds depth, while a touch of leather and tobacco adds a subtle complexity to the flavor. A long, clean finish, with the smoky flavors persisting and complemented by a pleasant bitterness that reminds of charred wood. Notes of caramel and vanilla linger on the palate, balanced by a subtle acidity that keeps the flavor bright and refreshing. These tasting notes suggest a well-rounded and complex mezcal with a flavor profile that evolves from the nose to the palate to the finish.
