Description
Hirsch The Bivouac Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey is an exquisite offering perfect for savoring either neat or over ice. The name “Bivouac,” pronounced as “bi?voo?ak,” evokes the idea of a temporary camp, without the shelter of a tent or cover, symbolizing a journey for those seeking to fully embrace the natural world. This bourbon pays homage to adventurous spirits who embrace the path less traveled. For its inaugural release, The Bivouac blends two straight bourbons distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky, known as the world capital of Bourbon. Each bottle proudly displays a grid on the back label detailing exact batch specifications.Drawing inspiration from the legendary A.H. Hirsch Reserve 16-year-old whiskey, The Bivouac features a custom mashbill designed to achieve a harmonious balance in its flavor profile. Bottled at 100 proof, each batch consists of approximately 160 barrels, ensuring consistency and quality with every pour.TASTING NOTESNose
