Description
Experience a masterful blend of global traditions with Kokorodama World Malt Whisky. This exceptional spirit is crafted at a Japanese distillery using time-honored Scotch methods, resulting in a whisky that is both familiar and excitingly new.Made from 100% malted barley, the whisky undergoes its transformation in ex-bourbon casks, which impart a smooth complexity and depth. Before bottling at a bold 92 proof, it is brought to perfection with fresh, locally sourced mountain water from the base of Mount Ibuki. This final touch adds a unique purity and character that can only come from its distinct Japanese terroir. The result is a wonderfully nuanced whisky that appeals to both seasoned Japanese whisky lovers and American whisky enthusiasts alike. On the palate, it unfolds with balanced malty notes, gentle spice, and a surprising hint of pineapple. Its higher proof ensures it stands out beautifully in cocktails like a classic whisky & soda, yet it remains smooth enough to be savored neat or with a splash of water to unlock its floral and spicy aromas. Discover the spirit of Japanese craft distillation in every sip.
