Description
Marques del Atrio Rioja Reserva 2015Deep, dark, ruby center with garnet reflections at the rim. Dark raspberry, crushed red currant, and soft plums fill the nose alongside dried herbs, dusty red soil, and a kiss of iodine. The mouthfeel is soft and elegant, with woodsy tones far in the background. Medium-plus in body with polished tannins, it’s got really good balance and a vibrant, juicy red-cherry character that shows a bit of mocha toward the finish.
