Description
Few bourbons earn the title of a true collector’s pour, but the Nulu Double Oaked Wheated Bourbon Single Barrel ‘Old Fashioned’ (Barrel W122) from Prohibition Craft Spirits is exactly that. Aged for nearly nine years and finished for an additional 11 months in a second brand-new charred oak barrel, this cask-strength wheated bourbon is a study in patience and precision. Bottled at 111.6 Proof (55.8% ABV) without chill filtration, every sip delivers the full, unfiltered character of the barrel—dark, viscous, and layered with maximal vanillins, caramelized sugars, and the kind of deep oak tannins that only come from an extended double-oaking process. This is a bourbon built for the enthusiast who knows that great whiskey isn’t rushed.
