Description
With a long history of winemaking, Simi has a lot to live up to. This blend takes many of the best red grapes in California. This 2018 wine is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 3% Petite Sirah, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Merlot. All but the Petite Sirah grapes are included in the Red wine blends of Bordeaux. Petite Sirah is also a French grape, not Bordeaux, and never was widely planted in France but has found a home in California. The resulting wine is dark in color and deep in flavor. We love it with dinner or a light bite for dessert.NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive Wine.
