Description
The Macallan 18 Year Double Cask is a testament to the art of oak cask maturation and blending, showcasing the dedication to producing exceptional Scotch whisky. The essence of this expression lies in the careful selection of oak casks from two continents—America and Europe. To create Double Cask, new oak casks from America are transported to Spain and seasoned with sherry. After at least 18 years, these casks are brought to The Macallan distillery to be united with the finest European sherry-seasoned oak casks. The result is a magnificent 18-year-old single malt Scotch whisky that embodies the luxurious and harmonious interplay of flavors.
