Mâcon Villages is the classicSouth BurgundyChardonnay from vineyards around Mâcon and 26 villages in the area – hence the name! No oak here, just 8 months ageing in tanksto get this round andsupple wine, with aromas of ripe apple, peach and flower.It has a nice minerality and some freshness provided by the clayey soils of theMâconnais. The finish is surprisingly long with hints of citrus and spice. Great for an aperitif or with seafood.
